Our robotics curriculum includes Lego robotics classes and Vex robotics classes.

Lego Robotics

Chengshi Education offers different LEGO classes suitable for different age groups.

The LEGO Spike Essential series of classes is suitable for beginner robotics learners from ages K-2.  LEGO Spike Prime is recommended for learners in the 3rd grade to 6th grade.  Intermediate LEGO learners may be interested in our LEGO Team.

LEGO robotics classes provide a hands-on, engaging introduction to STEM concepts, fostering creativity and problem-solving skills. By building and programming LEGO robotics models, children learn to apply scientific ideas to real-life projects, enhancing their understanding of physics, engineering, and coding. These classes also promote teamwork and communication, as students often collaborate on projects, sharing ideas and learning from one another. Overall, LEGO robotics offers a fun and educational experience that can spark a lifelong interest in technology and innovation and build lifelong skills in engineering and robotics.

Vex Robotics

Chengshi Education also offers different Vex classes suitable for different age groups.

We recommend VEX classes for slightly older students than our LEGO classes. Vex Go is recommended for robotics learners between the 3rd and 5th grades.  Vex IQ is recommended for learners in the 6th grade and above. Intermediate robotics learners may be interested in our Vex Team.

VEX robotics classes offer students the opportunity to delve deeper into engineering and computer science through designing, building, and programming Vex robots. These classes emphasize real-world problem-solving, innovative thinking, and communication skills, preparing students for future STEM careers. Participation in VEX competitions further enhances these skills, as students work in teams to tackle complex challenges, fostering collaboration and resilience. VEX robotics provides a comprehensive platform for students to develop critical thinking and technical abilities in an exciting, competitive environment.
